I'm Alex, an Electrical/Computer Engineer specializing in hardware diagnostics, computer systems builds, & electronics restoration.
I've been doing component-level repair since 2016 and specialized PCB-level diagnostics since 2019. I provide hardware solutions ranging from legacy data retrieval to micro-soldering. Please contect me about these services; I'm located in Ottawa, Canada.
I graduated from B.ASc Computer Engineering at uOttawa, I'm currently studying M.ASc in Electrical & Computer Engineering at uOttawa, working on my thesis related to automated precision robotics & realtime control systems.
You will frequently see my work under the aliases Aetriq for custom PCBs and 3D designs, & Veetwo as my (legacy) copyright. Aetriq has been my latest name since 2025. Seems like Veetwo is pretty common, so I decided to change it to something more uniquely identifiable on my project designs. I'm also part of the IEEE society.

Specialized PC Systems
High-performance system building including hard-loop liquid cooling, full restoration, and component-level optimization.
3D Modeling/Printing
0.1mm/0.1" precision CAD design (mainly electronic enclosures/brackets) alongside 3D printing services with options such as multi-color printing, engineering filaments, and vapor smoothing.
Vintage Tech Restoration
Restoration of vintage PCs and monitors, including retr0brighting, recapping, mainboard repair, and legacy media data retrieval (ZIP, 3.5" Floppy, CD/DVD, SYQUEST, APS, etc.).
I also do full recaps of CRT monitors; this includes circuit analysis & electrolyte cleaning. I can also replace other parts (PSU, flyback transformer, etc.) provided you have the replacement parts.
Apple Hardware Solutions
Full component-level repair for iPhones & MacBooks, plus firmware modifications & pwning/jailbreaking for legacy (32-bit) and select modern devices.
Just like the vintage tech I can also do repairs of original PowerPC's, Macintosh AIOs, and the like.
General Electronics & Printers
Other things I do include repair of 3D printers, alongside general micro-soldering, diagnostics, and restoration for miscellaneous electronic hardware.
